Barter Books was described by the New Statesmen as ' the British Library of second hand bookshops' and is certainly one of the largest in Britain. Located in an easily accessible listed Victorian station. Restored features include fireplaces and waiting room. New features include the Famous Writers mural by Peter Dodd, which consists of 40 life-size figures.
