Billingham Beck Valley Country Park is approximately 150 acres of mixed wetland, surviving in the heart of industrial Teesside. With wetland meadows and ponds, it is both a haven for wildlife and for the visitors who use the site. There is a visitor centre and a main car park situated in the Ecology Park area, this area is popular with most visitors, in particular families and visiting educational groups. There is a large pond and picnic areas situated close to the car park and visitor centre.
