Extensive gardens used as a horticultural training resource from Houghall College. Features include glasshouses, woodland garden, general display gardens and the recently opened "The World of Trees" Arboretum.

Gardens include national collections of meconopsis and sorbus. Large heather bed, alpine house, water garden, naturalised narcissus plantings. Large arboretum ("The World Of Trees") with fully-labelled plantings, with a comprehensive guidebook available from the Country Coffee Shop. Over 500 species of trees can be seen and you can go on a 2.5 mile discovery trail of the surrounding countryside.
