Gardens include national collections of meconopsis and sorbus. Large heather bed, alpine house, water garden, naturalised narcissus plantings. Large arboretum ("The World Of Trees") with fully-labelled plantings, with a comprehensive guidebook available from the Country Coffee Shop. Over 500 species of trees can be seen and you can go on a 2.5 mile discovery trail of the surrounding countryside.
