Fangfoss Pottery has been established for 30 years. It has gained a national reputation for its range of commemorative and site specific items which are supplied to museums, churches and historical sites throughout the UK.
All the pottery is hand made on the premises, and visitors can watch all the processes involved - from throwing on the wheel to glazing and firing. New in 2005 is the pottery gallery, where a wide range of studio ceramics and gift-ware is available to purchase.
Pre-bookable groups are welcome for guided tours and hands on activities are available for a small charge.
Visitors to the pottery would also find the other craft workshops in the village interesting too. There is the famous Rocking Horse Shop and Museum, and Harry's furniture studio. Finally, a visit to Fangfoss wouldn't be complete without a look at the local church and a meal or drink at the local hostellry!
The village holds a Festival of Practical Arts in the first weekend of September, each year. It is called Fangest.
