Thwaite Mills is one of the last remaining examples of a water-powered mill in Britain. Experience water powered industry in action! Feel the force of water power and how solid rock can be turned into paint and putty. Take a trip back in time to find out what life was like at this uniquely preserved site in the 1940s.
