Young Arboretum established since 1992. Fine collection of rare trees, including oaks, maples, beech, liquidambar and many other cultivars. Many plants have been planted for autumn colour. There are also good specimens of spring flowering Judas trees, summer flowering dogwoods & fine forms of Himalayan Birches selected for their ornamental bark.
RHS Members free (on production of Membership Card). Blubell Arboretum is an RHS affilated garden.
Coaches only by arrangement.
Opening times: March to end of October - Monday to Saturday 9 - 5pm. Sunday 10.30 - 4.30pm.
Opening times: November to end of February - Monday to Saturday 9 - 4pm. Sunday - closed. Bank Holidays 10.30 - 4.30pm.
Closed Dec 24th - Jan 2nd & Easter Sunday.
The Arboretum is accessible by wheelchair, but it is difficult in very wet conditions & the grounds are undulating.
