Sulgrave Manor is George Washington's ancestral home. The site houses the largest UK collection of George Washington memorabilia demonstrating the British contribution to the origins of the USA with a separate exhibition on George's life and career in the US.
The large historic manor house has Tudor and Georgian furnishings and artefacts, an extensive collection of Washington Family memorabila, a buttery and hosts many special events.
Open times;
Weekend : April 1st to October 29th, noon to 4:00 p.m. last entry.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday : May 1st to October 31st 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. last entry.
For event days see separate entries but usually 10.30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. last entry.
Access to the house may be restricted during pre-booked occasions.
