Beecroft Art Gallery
The gallery houses some 2,000 works, including works by Constable, Molenaer, Lear and Seago. The gallery also hosts temporary exhibitions and is the home of the Essex artists open exhibition.

As well as a fine collection of local views, including paintings by Alfred Herbert, one of Southend's best artists whose beautiful and often dramatic works are quite collectible and are great favourites with Beecroft's visitors. Special exhibitions are held througout the year.

Please book in advance if you would like to bring a group to the gallery. Due to the nature of the building, wheelchair access is to the ground floor only.
