A Victorian lock-up in a village green setting with an unusual 170 years history.
For 95 years it housed a fire pump. Later a wartime police post. With its unusual cube dimensions and disproportional sized clock tower added in 1897 it has obvious eye appealfor the inquisitive tourist and visitor. Inside the cage are displays covering the history of the building, John Peck and local drainage of the area.
