In 20 acres surrounding 'King Arthur's Stone'. Walks through the fields where King Arthur and Mordred met for their last battle. Inscribed stone and battle both dated by earliest stories to AD540. Lots to do and read about the legend and the history. 1,000ft exhibition room. Video loop and brass rubbing, children's quiz, nature trail. Local products gift shop, play castle. Unravel fact from fiction. What links King Arthur to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Shrek? Come and find out. Archaeological site open to the public. New for 2006 – “Lady Falmouth’s Secret Garden” 18th century garden rediscovered in 2005. Ongoing restoration - come and visit now and visit the garden gradually brought to life!!

On the 4th and 5th of July Destrier, a professional jousting company, will be at The Arthurian Centre. Also hawk displays, bow and sword skill displays, have a go archery, medieaval music and dance, an evening hog roast and beer tent.

Entrance is free to those who turn up in medieaval costume!! ( Otherwise normal entrance fees).

Archaeologists will also be on site from the 2nd to 12th July digging and providing guided tours of recent excavations
