A really wonderful 11th Century Manor, within its own grounds, which, is fast gaining a reputation as one of ‘BRITAINS MOST HAUNTED HOUSES’. Has Been featured on MOST HAUNTED TV Series. Set in a secluded valley, the Manor was first recorded in the Doomsday Book and contains eight rooms of period furniture from Elizabethan to Victorian eras, Including a Priest Hole and the infamous Haunted Room. There are over four acres of beautiful gardens, with ponds and woodland walks for you to enjoy. The popular Tearoom offers morning coffee - light lunches and scrumptious Manor cream teas and are Open to public: Admission: House & Gardens per person: Adults £7.00 Child/OAP’s £5.00 under 5yrs FREE. Family Group (2+2) £22.00. Open Easter to end of October. (Daily tour between 10.30 and 4.30pm). Mon to Fri 10.30 to 5pm-last tour. Sun 10.30am-5pm. Saturdays (July, August & bank Holidays only). Coach Parties/Groups welcome by prior arrangement. D to Grounds, M MW Ground floor.
