Six exhibition rooms with exciting displays featuring life size characters, computer interactive displays, audio visual and photographic displays. The exhibitions give an insight into the natural and cultural heritage of Dartmoor. They cover wildlife, archaeology, granite quarrying, peat working, mining, military use, water, farming and forestry. There is information about Dartmoor artists and writers including Sherlock Holmes and features on conservation and the story of Princetown. The centre also houses a gallery with regularly changing exhibitions.
