A countryside collection displayed on the three floors of a timber-framed 15thC building. Displays of British woodland and wetland wildlife. Many types of wild creature, their lifecycles and their relationships with their habitats and people are examined in depth. The museum commemorates the work of John Moore, the local naturalist writer. Museum also houses part of the Alan and Jack Collection of metal wildlife sculptures. Full programme of temporary exhibitions and special events.
