Treat your family to the very best with a full day of hands on animal action at Pennywell Farm. Home of the half hourly activity and with up to 20 hands on activities, shows and displays every day, all included in the admission price, you won’t waste a single minute. There’s something new every half hour – listen for the bell!

There are hungry lambs and goat kids to bottle feed, ferrets to race, puppet shows, sing-a-longs, hedgehogs to meet, ponds to explore, fantastic entertainers every day during the Devon school holidays and a whole host of hands on animal activities.

All the Pennywell animals love to be cuddled - come and find your favourite! Shire horses, Boxer and Fusilier, the gentle giants of the farmyard are waiting to meet you as are Dancer and Prancer the reindeer, all the way from the North Pole. Cuddle the pets, talk to the alpacas and make friends with more than 150 friendly animals in their farmyard home. Pennywell Farm is also the home of the world famous Pennywell Miniature Pigs.

Enjoy the new Animal Barn with friendly animal encounters and lots of undercover fun. You can wander into the pens and experience the animals close up – they are always happy to meet you.

There are rides for all ages included in the admission price; quad bikes for farmers over six years, go carts for farmers over eight years and the Rainbow Railway for farmers of all ages. Plus, new for 2009 is the Pennywell Tractor Village – a delight for all budding farmers with tractors galore.

Discover the some of the best views in Devon from the Pennywell tower, your well earned reward for finding your way through the Spiders Web willow maze.

Pennywell is just off the A38 near Buckfastleigh, just 20 miles from Plymouth and Exeter and only 12 miles from Torbay. Open daily 10am – 5pm, 7 days a week.
