Welcombe Pottery is situated on the rugged North Devon coast in the village of Welcombe. The pottery was established in c1971 in an old blacksmiths smithy which is divided into a workshop and gallery. Ben and Elke are committed to making pots that are both functional and attractive using the traditional North Devon red terracotta clay. All the work is hand thrown, decorated and fired in the workshop, using a blend of traditional and contemporary influence and therefore each pot is unique.
