A 15thC half-cruck barn, built by New College Oxford between 1401-1407. Restored by English Heritage, it houses exhibits and collections of agricultural and trade vehicles.

The great barn of Swalcliffe recognised in the Victorian County History as the finest in Oxfordshire and one of the major barns of England, owes its existence to William of Wykham who on founding New College Oxford endowed the benefice and his estates at Swalcliffe to the foundation. Restored in 1992 by English Heritage, this fine example of a half-cruck barn now houses a small collection of local agricultural and trade vehicles. Exhibition area currently showing 'A Parish and its People - 2000 years of Swalcliffe History'.
