Housed in a 17th century Cotswold cottage, this fine collection of local domestic, agricultural, trade and craft tools is one of Oxfordshire's oldest small museums, set up by George Swinford in the 1930s.
'Victorian Washdays' - an insight into how we cared for clothes; 'Rainy Day Savings' - how did people manage their finance in years gone by?; and 'Trials of Agriculture' - find out about Filkins part in the Swing Riots'. The usual large collection of stonemason's tools and many other craftsmen's tools belonging to the area will also be on view.
