Formal horticultural design of garden. Part of the historical Down Grange Estate and originally served as a kitchen garden to Down Grange House, which now operates as a restaurant. Original yew hedges and listed walls, demonstration allotments, beehives and observation hive classroom. Visitor centre and exhibition housed in the bothy. Public art, including main gates, original gothic back gates. Wildlife area. Picnic area. Historical interest. Open by appointment Bank Holiday.
