Picturesque watermill making silk since 1825. Now a working museum which weaves silk on historic looms for interiors, fashion and theatrical costumes. Varied programme of temporary exhibitions, adults and childrens' interactive displays.
Waterwheel, riverside garden, shop selling fabulous silk gifts and tea-room serving home cooking.
Open all year (except Christmas week) Tue-Sun and Bank Holiday Mondays 10.30am-5pm. Last admission at 4.15pm.
