Palladian-style house built in 1774 by 'Capability' Brown for Clive of India, with neo-classical style interiors by Henry Holland. Later the home of Princess Charlotte of Wales and Queen Victoria and in continuous royal ownership until 1920. Now a school. All the state rooms are open and in the basement you can see Lord Clive's marble plunge bath and the unique tunnel and turning circle entrance.
