A 750-acre reservoir, attractive scenery, trout fishing, walking, sailing, a nature reserve, with an outdoor clothing and fishing tackle shop and picnic area. There is bird watching on this site of special scientific interest and fly fishing courses are available. Brixworth Country Park is located on the west side of the reservoir has cycle hire, visitor centre, restaurant and sensory garden with ponds. Northampton Sailing Club and Pitsford Sailing School sail on Pitsford Water adjacent to Brixworth Country Park. See website for more updated information.
