Local artefacts, portraits and photographs, including coronation robes belonging to the Earl and Countess of Orford, who had a country residence at Rosemoor, now a Royal Horticultural Society establishment. Exhibits on local industries and archaeological specimens, housed in the old courtroom of the Town Hall. Small archive for visitors researching family history. New exhibit on Thomas Fowler, local inventor of the thermo siphon, which was the basis of central heating systems, and early calculating machine. Major new exhibit - Torrington in wartime.
