Seaford Museum is housed in Martello Tower no.74 on Seaford seafront. It has a deceptive 5,000 square feet of display area including the roof with cannon, entrance floor with museum shop, the lower magazine floor of the tower and the covered dry moat area.

Not only does it record Seaford's long history from its days as a Cinque Port but also appeals to all age groups with displays including shops, tableaux and many items from pre-historic times to the present day. These include collections of domestic appliances and office machinery covering the first half of the 20th century.

The Museum reference archives and the register of Seaford houses may be consulted by appointment.

There are free museum trails for children aged 3 to10
