The museum takes the visitor back to when a village was self-sufficient by means of many shops. It has many reconstructions - the farm worker's cottage, the wheelwright, blacksmith, dairy, farm brewery, saddlers and cobblers. In another building we find the village square with the village shop, laundry, coopers, school, garage and bakers. There is a fine collection of agricultural implements and tractors.
