Claydon is an extraordinary house with remarkable 18thC rococo and chinoiserie decoration. Features include the unique Chinese Room and parquetry Grand Stairs. The Verney family have been in continuous occupation for over 380 years and the house has many memorabilia relating to Florence Nightingale, who was a relation and regular visitor. The property is owned by The National Trust.
