Built in the 1870s, this imposing Victorian neo-Gothic edifice stands at the very heart of Harrogate and is the town's civic church. The interior is enlivened by an outstanding collection of painted glass by Burlison and Grylls of London which includes a reproduction of the Punch cartoon 'Who goes there?' as a memorial to the First World War. St Peter's is a vibrant church with a strong musical tradition. It has an excellent choir and flourishing music group.
