Brixworth County Park first opened in 1990 and is owned and managed by Northamptonshire County Council. The park has many facilities including a cafe, cycle hire, play area, sensory garden, waymarked trails and a fully accessible residential centre for groups.
The Country Park is now the main gateway to Pitsford Water and the 10km safe walking/cycling route called the Pitsford Water Trail. The park is also linked directly with the Brampton Valley Way (Route 6 on the Sustrans cycling network).
A team of dedicated and trained countryside rangers manages the park providing a range of services including environmental activities and education packages for schools and groups of all ages and abilities. They also provide a wide range of public events, from family fun days to Halloween events.
The park provides people with the ideal opportunity for rest and relaxation in a peaceful setting.
