Four detached properties, sympathetically converted to an exceptional standard from period farm buildings occupying a beautiful tranquil setting on the edge of the village of Cowbeech whilst enjoying open southerly views across a small lake to rolling pasture and woodland.
The Granary, the Oast, the Byre & the Bull Pen with the adjoining Cart Lodge may be booked individually or in any combination. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights for each property or 3 nights if all are taken together. The Bull Pen and newly converted Cart Lodge provide additional flexibility, either as separate comfortable and spacious accommodation for 2, or dining space with covers for up to 17 guests if all the properties are taken. Beechcroft is the ideal venue for family celebrations.

The Bull Pen & The Cart Lodge sleeps 2 guests Hall, shower room with wc, double bedroom with 6ft bed (zip & link, can convert to singles), kitchen with dining table (seats 3), sitting room in adjoining Cart Lodge. A porch links the Bull Pen to the Cart Lodge. Terrace ( not enclosed). Full oil fired central heating, large electric cooker, dishwasher, TV, DVD.
The Bull Pen & Cart Lodge offers separate comfortable and spacious accommodation for 2 for last minute short breaks. When booked with one or all the other properties (the Cart Lodge having dining space for up to 20 guests), Beechcroft becomes the ideal venue for larger parties or for small residential conferences.
The kitchen is equipped for 20 covers, and with prior notice and agency chef may be organised.
There is an excellent pub a 3-minute walk away with a wide choice of other good food hostelries in villages nearby.
The journey from central London is just 90 minutes and from Gatwick airport, 45 minutes. The Channel Tunnel and ferry port at Dover are only 90 minutes’ drive away. The coast at Normans Bay is 6 miles away with with Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton within convenient reach.
On the edge of 1066 Country, there is a multitude of ancient castles, open gardens and National Trust properties to visit. Take time to explore the picture book Sussex towns of Battle, Lewes, Arundel, Midhurst and Petworth or visit the historic ports of Old Hastings, Rye and Winchelsea.
Renowned open gardens include Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle, Leonardslea, Pashley Manor, Wakehurst Place.
