Get close to Lord Bearsted's incredible art collection, with works by Holgarth, Stubbs, Canaletto and El Grecco, it is regarded as one of the nation's most important private collections.
The garden was the vision of Lady Bearsted and provides stunning colour all year round, with terraced borders, ornamental ponds, bog garden, a working kitchen garden and the National Collection of Asters which flower in early autumn.
A new introductory film about the family, showing in the newly restored 1930s squash court will be ready in late summer, setting the scene and bringing together the story of the Bearsted's at Upton House & Gardens in its heyday.
