There are many local places of interest within easy reach such as Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge Gorge, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. A wealth of castles are close by in Shropshire and over the border in Wales. Some great examples are: Powis Castle in Welshpool, Ludlow Castle and Chirk Castle. The beautiful cottage has ample parking for 3 cars and a large garden that attracts many different birds. The sunny conservatory is an ideal place to enjoy breakfast whilst taking in the views of the thatched church and hills beyond. In the lounge there are many original features including the beamed ceiling and wood burning fire which is a perfect setting for a cosy night in with a roaring fire after enjoying dinner in the separate dining room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a luxurious four poster bed and spectacular views across the countryside. After a long day walking the hills of south Shropshire you can relax in the large corner bath before settling down in front of the wood burning fire.
