BLUE FLAG AWARD
Falmouth's largest beach. A fine crescent of sand popular with families. Disabled Access. Seasonal Dog Ban. Blue Flag Award.
Gyllyngvase Beach has a sand chair to enable access to the beach and the water for visitors with mobility problems. The sand chair needs to be hired in advance. The chair is suitable for all age groups due to an adjustable lap strap to secure younger users. The chairs can travel into water, enabling users to enjoy a paddle at the discretion of the hire office. Call 01326 312884 for bookings.
At low tide, you can go rock pooling on Gyllyngvase Beach. In the shallow pools you will find winkles and shrimps, while the deeper points on the reef edge are full of sqat lobsters and crabs. A great place for young rock poolers.
