The oldest model village in the world, Bekonscot depicts rural England in the 1930s, where time has stood still for 75 years. The miniature population go about their daily tasks. The parks are quiet, there are strains of merry organ music coming from the steam fair on the village green, and the churches are full. A gauge 1 model railway weaves around the beautifully kept gardens, and there are many working models. New narrow gauge ride-on railway. A perfect haven from the harsh outside modern world:- 'A little piece of history that is forever England'.
