Severn Leisure Cruises

The MV Conway Castle is the largest passenger vessel on the River Severn, & is licensed to carry up to 300 passengers. Although based in picturesque Upton upon Severn, cruises operate both to Tewkesbury & Worcester.
Severn Leisure Cruises is a family-run business, operating since 1979, & offers a wide variety of day & evening cruises with the emphasis on a high level of customer satisfaction from a professional team.

Daytime cruises include the popular Waterbus service to Tewkesbury for its Wednesday market. Afternoon tea cruises originated on board the Conway Castle, & take place many Tuesdays & Thursdays - advance booking is necessary. We also offer occasional sailings to Worcester. Group rates are available on these cruises.

Sunday Lunch 'n' Jazz Cruises are particularly popular. During 2008 weekday lunch cruises will also be available.

Many evenings are reserved for private charter for special occasions such as birthdays & anniversaries. We also host numerous prestigious corporate parties on board, & have even 'launched' a new car on the front deck.
Conferences & Sales Presentations are particularly successful as they have a truly captive audience once on board. Wedding Receptions too are hugely popular, & brides who are looking for something a little different can choose from a wide range of menus & styles of boat decoration for their special day. Entertainment can vary from a Caribbean Steel Band to a Casino or Blues Band. Good food is a special feature on board the MV Conway Castle for all private, afternoon tea & supper cruises.

Tickets are available for party evenings with live bands & discos, as well as buffet & hot supper cruises with restaurant style dining for small groups & with a varied programme of entertainment.

Dinner Party Cruises have been especially busy during 2007 and have appealed to many smaller companies looking to entertain guests with something different.

There is easy access on board at Upton upon Severn, with no steps. Wheelchairs can be accommodated with pleasure, but advance notification is essential as only a limited number can be taken on any cruise. We regret it is not possible for electric wheelchairs to gain access.
