The Royal Seven Stars Hotel is a charming olde worlde former coaching inn, dating for the most part, back to 1660, and situated in the centre of the historical town of Totnes and near the banks of the River Dart.

During the spring through to autumn, river steamers operate to the historical town of Dartmouth. Easily accessible from the A38 Devon Expressway, turning off at Buckfastleigh, Totnes is little more than a five-mile drive.

Totnes is an ideal touring base for exploring South Devon, being near Torbay (6 miles), the beauty of the South Hams coast and Dartmoor National Park. Exeter and Plymouth are little more than 25 miles' drive.

All rooms have central heating, direct dial telephone, radio, colour television, hairdryer, wall-to-wall carpeting and each room has individual decoration. Two rooms have four-poster beds and are available at a small extra charge.

The restaurant serves an excellent four-course dinner each evening from 7pm, or if a light meal is preferred, single course supper dishes are also available until 9pm for a little more than £5.00.

A traditional Devonshire breakfast is included in the room charges and offers a wide choice of dishes including three types of fish, breakfast grills and all the usual dishes you would expect from a traditional hostelry of quality.
