Miller's at Glencot House

Nestling at the foot of the Mendip Hills, just where the River Axe emerges from the fathomless darkness of Wookey Hole, this grand Jacobean style mansion boasts the most elegantly theatrical interior of any country house hotel. The hotel features 15 individually designed bedrooms, filled with exotic antiques and ancient curiosities; Miller’s successfully combines vintage luxury with relaxed intimacy.

The aptly named Riverview Restaurant overlooks the gorgeous River Axe as it meanders through the extensive gardens and is the perfect setting in which to enjoy classic French and British cuisine with a contemporary twist. There is also a Private Dining Room for up to 14 people.

The gardens at Miller’s are a major attraction in their own right and can be viewed whilst taking the extremely popular Tea on the Terrace.
