Tranquil setting in open countryside, well off the road adjoining paddocks and gardens. The various animals and birds kept as pets (and grass cutters) include ponies, sheep, ducks and bantams in addition to the usual dogs and cats. Picnic area, covered games area with pool table, tennis table and darts. Ideally situated in the rural heart of Suffolk to discover the many and varied local attractions. The Roman Road leads east to the 'Heritage Coast' with the Blyth and Alde Estuaries and the charming resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh. To the west lies Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral, abbey gardens and lively market. Further west you will find racing at Newmarket and Cambridge. Wander south and enjoy the picturesque 'Wool Towns', Lavenham is a gem and then over to the nostalgic views across 'Constable Country'.The whole family will enjoy the farm attractions, the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, Colchester's award winning zoo, boating at Thorpeness and the Saxon village at West Stow. Good cycling and walking. Any time to spare? Try the country houses, the antique and craft centres, the museums or maybe golf or horse riding. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles.
