This ancient market town has a wonderful selection of curio and antique shops as well as tea rooms and food outlets and is well placed for exploring into the neighbouring counties of the Yorkshire Dales, North Lakes and North Pennines.

Manor Lodge has been specially designed with the holiday maker in mind. It offers detached accommodation, set in the grounds of one of Kirkby Stephen's former manor houses. Quality fittings have been successfully combined with carefully chosen fabrics and soft furnishings to create a light, modern feel. The garden, complete with pond and carp, is awash with colour in the summer months.
