Old Joint Stock, The

The old Joint Stock is located in the heart of Birminghams city centre.
Built in 1864, this grade two listed building was designed by local architect, Julius Alfred Chatwin, best known as the builder of many Victorian churches. Prior to being taken over by Lloyds Bank in 1889 it was the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank. It opened as one of Fullers prime outlets in 1997.
Step inside the huge front doors and you will discover a truly breathtaking pub. The opulent finish and style compliments the fantastic architecture and imposing glass domed ceiling.
Freshly prepared food is served from 12 noon each day. This is complimented by a full range of Fullers Ales, a local guest beer and extensive wine list.
As well as offering excellent standards of hospitality in our bar, we also cater for private functions, parties, conferences and meetings. The Function Room can accommodate up to 50 people for buffets or a seated meal. It is available for business use with flexible room layouts.
On the ground floor is the Club Room accommodating up to 25 people and is ideal for those smaller meetings.
With a grand outlook over the main bar area, the Mezzanine level is ideal for informal buffets and drinks gatherings, allowing guests to soak in the ambience from the whole pub.
Our walled patio also allows you to make the most of the summer sun.
We aim to be totally flexible to your function needs and offer set menus, a la carte meals and buffets. We will upon request cost any menu required. Open Mon-Sat 1100-2300, Closed on Sundays.
