Welcome to Otterburn Mill in the heart of Wild Redesdale in Northumberland. Famous for the Otterburn Pram and Cot Rugs, we also sell a wide range of traditional clothing and have established ourselves as outdoor clothing specialists, stocking major brands at competitive prices.

Free parking, spacious shop, picturesque rural location and our friendly, professional service combine to create a relaxing shopping experience.

Visit our coffee shop for delicious home cooking and baking. We offer morning snacks, lunches and afternoon tea.

Still on display at Otterburn mill are the restored 19th century water turbines and Europe’s only remaining tenterhooks, which were used for stretching and drying newly woven cloth and from which the phrase ‘on tenterhooks’ was derived.

We’re open 7 days a week for shopping, eating out and tourist information; coach parties are welcome.
