Nestling in the picturesque village of Clearwell, within walking distance of Clearwell Castle, the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel provides an ideal setting for a relaxed and tranquil stay within the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The hotel, reputed to have been originally built in the 13th Century, retains many original features including oak beams and wooden spiral staircases.

There are 22 well-appointed double, twin and family rooms, all with en-suite facilities and some with four-poster beds or jacuzzi corner baths. Our AA Two Rosettes candle-lit restaurant is both intimate and comfortable with superb food from our a la carte menu. Private parties can also be catered for and business guests can hold meetings in our function room for up to 35 people.

With mature gardens and a terrace area to enjoy the country air and views, the hotel can also offer 14 acres of grounds to explore - deemed an area of Special Scientific Interest due to the rare and varied flora that can be found on the banks and rock outcrops.

Pets welcome!
