Ashby de la Zouch Castle belonged to Lord Hastings in the 15th Century. The setting for many of the jousting scenes in Sir Walter Scott's novel 'Ivanhoe'.

See the impressive ruin of the late medieval Castle. Climb the impressive 78 ft (24 metre) high Hastings Tower and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Explore the kitchen tunnel and listen to an amusing account of the castle's history on audio tour.
