Bluecoat Display Centre

The Bluecoat Display Centre is Liverpool’s original, independent, contemporary craft gallery, showing and selling some of the finest work made by professional craftspeople from across the British Isles. The consistently high quality of the work has resulted in the Display Centre being included in the Craft Council’s list of selected galleries. The curators at the Bluecoat Display Centre continually endeavour to present new work and an annual series of changing exhibitions in a setting that is welcoming and inspiring. The mission of the Bluecoat Display Centre, a not-for-profit organisation, is to promote good values and to encourage the public to embrace and appreciate the merits and originality of handmade work, thereby enabling UK-based applied artists to maintain and develop their ambitions. Since it was established in 1959, the Bluecoat Display Centre has been recognised nationally and internationally as one of the UK’s leading galleries specialising in contemporary applied arts.
