English Heritage Grade II Listed gardens situated in regal Low Harrogate, which along with woodland known as The Pinewoods, cover 17 acres. The Gardens contain a greater number of mineral springs than any other known place - visit the area known as Bogs Field where 36 different mineral wells were discovered . For music lovers, band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. Walk along the Sun Colonnade to the Art Deco Sun Pavilion opened in 1933.
There is a wide variety of outdoor games such as tennis courts, pitch & putt golf course, crazy golf, boating pool, paddling pool and a children's play area. The Gardens are open all year round, 24 hours a day. The outdoor games season runs from April to October. As times vary throughout the season, please call 01423 556761 for further details. Light refreshments are available from the Magnesia Well Café and the Games Pavilion sells some refreshments between Easter and September.
On-street disc zone car parking is available around the Valley Gardens for maximum stays of up to 3 hours. Discs are available from local shops and the Tourist Information Centre at the Royal Baths on Crescent Road. Most footpaths in the Gardens are suitable for the majority of manual and electric wheelchair users and there are disabled toilets.
