Lose yourself in a creative and romantic garden perched on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

Discover one-and-a-half intimate acres of inspirational planting that blends informally into its cradle of wild woodland. Pinsla's petite plot of chaotic colour can only translate to prove that small is beautiful. Meander along winding slate and stone paths, through native plants such as honeysuckle, ferns, wild ivy and grasses that are intertwined with exotic agave, bamboo and cordyline.

Spirals of pebbles and pots, broken mirror and twisted withies enhance the kaleidoscopic ambience that will leave your senses dizzy with radiant pleasure. A tree tunnel made from birch and wild honeysuckle, a stone circle and unique sculptures by local artists are features that enhance the magical and personal atmosphere of this artistic garden. The latest imaginative addition is an extraordinary gazebo with a broken-mirrored ceiling, and a wall with onion-shaped finials welded out of steel wedding cake stands.

Pinsla Lodge is the north lodge of the old Glynn estate and in the 17th and 18th centuries was part of the deer park attached to the Lanhydrock estate. Venture out into the woodland beyond the garden's boundaries, and get blown away as you stroll over the surrounding moorland. Don't forget to bring your four-legged friends - this is a dog friendly paradise that they won't want to miss out on.

The diminutive size of the garden itself is inspirational for keen gardeners with their own gardens of Eden to play with, and with such a well-stocked nursery on site your green fingers are bound to be tempted. So clear a space in the boot for your very own bit of plant art and escape to this artists', romantics' and garden-lovers' pleasure-zone.
