Gothic House is a very historic building, Grade II listed as a Regency townhouse, its story goes back much further as it is believed there was a building on the site as far back as the 1300s. In 1820 the building was transformed into what we see today. Gothic House has two spacious guest rooms, each with its own private (but not en-suite) bathroom. The house has been extensively refurbished during 2007 and 2008 and is furnished and decorated with an eclectic array of items and artwork. Gothic Hose is ideally located for exploring the city on foot as many of the major attractions are close by, included the cathedral and historic Elm Hill. The Playhouse Theatre is only 5 minutes walk away and there are a large number of restaurants in the area.
