Beamish Wild Bird of Prey Conservation Centre is dedicated to the preservation of all species of bird of prey. Situated in the grounds of Beamish Hall Country House Hotel, we are uniquely placed within a beautifully enchanted woodland setting that provides a comfortable and as near as possible natural habitat for our resident birds. Our superb and impressive wild bird of prey family is on view throughout the whole year and open to all ages. Resident birds include eagles, vultures, owls, hawks and falcons. Weather permitting we provide 2 educational flight displays every day. The displays last approximately 30 to 40 minutes and are held at 1100 and 1400. We also have an owl walk - visitors get to take the little owls through the woods under the supervision of our falconers. Walks at 1230 and 1300 (limited spaces available).

Beamish Wild Ropes Activity Centre is the North East's new high wire adventure course. Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush high in the treetops, climbing through tunnel nets, jumping the ‘leap of faith’ and freefalling on our incredible 65ft power fan. Fantastic outdoor fun and adventure for families, school groups, corporate groups and any other thrill-seeking individuals. All safety equipment is provided. Please advance book your tickets prior to your visit - book online or by calling 01207 233733. All Ropes Activity Centre participants get free admission to the Beamish Wild Birds of Prey Conservation Centre. Rope Activities open 900-1700.
