Redundant 14th Century church restored by The Churches Conservation Trust. Features include extensive use of recycled Roman brickwork. Tower was partially destroyed during the seige of Colchester in 1648. Interior is unfurnished.

This 14/15th century church is the Parish church of St Martin's. It has a 12th century tower which was severely damaged during the English Civil War siege of Colchester in the 17th century. There is a remarkable 14th century timber screen in the Chancel.
A permanent tenant is currently being sought for this building. It is occasionally used as a theatrical venue in partnership with the Colchester Arts Centre.
