Ash Cottage is located in the grounds of a country house and is surrounded by stunning and unspoilt countryside. The cottage is very comfortably furnished, has been refurbished and is ideally situated to explore the lovely north Devon area. The cottage is perfect for walkers and dogs, and makes a comfortable place to stay whilst enjoying your holiday. There is shared use of a heated outdoor pool which is open during the summer months. A short distance away you have access to some of the best beaches in the country including Woolacombe and Saunton. The nearest beach at Instow is ideal for children or just a great place to walk off life's stresses and then enjoy a meal or drink at one of the pubs and restaurants along the front. The town of Barnstaple is only a short drive away and has most amenities you may require. As well as a busy high street, the market and Butchers Row are well worth a visit. There are numerous places of interest close by including the R.H.S. gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. For the younger ones a visit to the Big Sheep or Milkyway is good day out. There is walking on Dartmoor, or hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail. Restaurant on site (advance bookings only).
