"In 1995 I opened up my studio to the public and it has been an enormous pleasure for me to meet the people who enjoy my work. To be able to talk with my collectors, making a connection, perhaps even adding meaning to the paintings they purchase is very rewarding.
My work is about distilling an idea, conveying the transient moods and light of Cornwall. It is about evoking the feeling of a place rather than depicting it. My painting style is distinctive ranging from calm subtle tonal images full of texture and depth to vibrant, exuberantly colourful bursts of energy and passion. My paintings always express my lust for life.
