The Museum has many temporary exhibitions throughout the year, its permanent displays are packed with fascinating objects in a broad range of topics. The current size of the collections is thought to total circa 20,000 artefacts. This includes items which were made or used in Kettering Borough from social and industrial history, geology, natural history and coins.

During each day of the school holidays there are free drop in childrens arts and crafts activities which relate to the temporary exhibition programme. The museum also regularly hosts free family events which include large scale history fayres featuring historical interpreters as well as historical Christmas fayres.

The museum shop is well stocked with educational and fun gift items relatd to the themes of the museum. A perfect place to buy a unique treat.
